Bloom Brewing Co | Lily Perkins

Bloom Brewing Co is a local Texas infused beverage company, where I designed not only the logo, but also created the full branding for the company, along with individual package designs for both pouches and bottles.

LOGO DESIGN

Bloom Brewing Co first came to me for assistance with brand redesign.

I was provided with the initial logo design (originating from a different designer) and given instruction to recreate it as more elevated and in line with their old brand "Cosmic CBD".

Specifics:

- Simplify the original "Bloom" logo

- Matching the simplistic packaging planned going forward

- Can work as a "seal" for social media profile pictures, stickers, etc.

Original logo design

Implemented the cannabis plant within the design. Created a logotype with very simple sans serif lettering to give an elevated feel. Rounded out some edges to promote a friendly "vibe" without sacrificing elegance.

When testing, the biggest critique was that it looked like the brand was "Blom" not "Bloom"

Finalized design

Exported as a .png and .svg for adding logo to whichever mediums needed

Chose sub-fonts that matched similarly to the intended audience for the brand.

The bottom right option was ultimately chosen — it gave an elevated "old money" feel that contrasted with the modern minimalism.

After finalizing the logo, I initiated and finalized the Bloom Brewing Co Brand Guide

Utilizing the brand guide, I applied the guidelines to all package designs, including bottle "shrink-wrap" and pouch designs.

For beverage shrink-wrap, I designed labels for both 16oz and 12oz bottles.

Logo text design options for the infused beverages. The chosen design (middle left) was decided as the shaping and merging of the text provided a unique feel. Capitalized the "E" & "P"
